LANDHIVE and Libertum are now one group: what it means for developers and investors
3 min read

In August 2026, LANDHIVE and Libertum agreed a share swap. The two companies now operate as one group, and LANDHIVE's founder, Jens Bezuidenhout, has joined Libertum as Chief Operating Officer. The swap will be executed at the next financing round.
Here is why, and what it means if you build with us or invest through us.
We were already building on the same stack
LANDHIVE exists to help real estate developers raise capital for good projects that bank finance holds back, and to give investors direct, fractional access to those projects.
When we launched our investor and issuer portal, portal.landhive.io, we chose not to build the regulated plumbing from scratch. The portal runs on Libertum's white-label T-Suite, under LANDHIVE's name: developers submit and manage their projects as issuers, and investors register, verify their identity and invest in the same place.
So the two teams were already working on one technology base. The agreed share swap makes it one group.
What the group now shares
- Technology. T-Suite and the products built on it, which LANDHIVE's portal already runs on. The group now develops the platform together.
- Infrastructure. One stack for issuance, investor onboarding, custody, payments and distribution, instead of two teams each maintaining their own.
- Assets. Real estate developments and the offerings built on them can reach investors across the group's platforms.
- Licences. The group's licensed entities support both businesses, within the scope of each licence. That includes Libertum, S.A. de C.V., registered with El Salvador's CNAD as a Digital Asset Service Provider (PSAD-0094).
Jens Bezuidenhout joins Libertum as COO
Jens founded LANDHIVE in 2023 after a decade in investment banking at Citi and more than 20 years developing real estate in the United Kingdom and Spain, including ROX Brighton. He built LANDHIVE after seeing first-hand how restrictive bank financing can hold back otherwise viable projects.
As Chief Operating Officer of Libertum, he brings that experience of how developments are actually financed and delivered into the whole group.
“Building our portal on Libertum's infrastructure showed us what one stack can do. Bringing the two companies together puts the technology, the licences and the people under one roof.”
What it means for you
If you're a real estate developer, you work with a team that understands development finance from the inside, now backed by a group that can take your project from first plans to tokenised, funded and managed in one place.
If you invest through LANDHIVE, you keep using the same portal. You register and verify once, and every offering still comes with the same onboarding, eligibility and compliance checks.
What's next
The group's focus is simple: take an asset from first plans to tokenised, funded and managed, in one place. We will share more as the two teams bring their work together.
